Grandpa passed away on Thanksgiving this year. On Christmas, each of my brothers found one of his old pipes in their stocking. After all the presents had been opened, we headed out onto the porch to see if they still were in working order.

My brother got married in the greatest city on earth just before Christmas. There was just enough snow on the ground to make everything romantic, without delaying guests from getting to the lower east side locale on time. There's truly nothing like a winter white wedding in New York City.
