Palm Springs // Desert X
Palm Springs is like traveling back in time, or stepping into a Mad Men episode — whichever mode of time travel you prefer. Desert X exhibition is here through the month of April and we joined the hordes to sneak a peek at the mirror house "Mirage" set up against the desert hills. We came dressed for the part.
The Fremont Diner, Sonoma County
If you're going to spend all day wine-tasting in Sonoma, you've got to start with a hearty meal to line your stomach and, er, mentally prepare. Thankfully, The Fremont Diner has your back. Head to the back patio where you can peruse the menu and order a mimosa until a table opens up (there will always be a wait, but it's worth it). Once you're seated, bring on the biscuits, chicken, waffles, and hot sauce.
Dog Shelter Portraits
An important step in finding a new home is your glamour shot. I've started photographing the pups at the Milo Foundation once a week, helping them find a family and helping me get my puppy fix.
